Sorry for the dead air. MC Ice and I were in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands on vacation.
In short: Great scenery, amazing nature, not so great food and the wine selection made me teary. Alamos, Trapiche, and Castillero del Diablo for about $50 a bottle. Nary a glass of decent wine at a reasonable price for these normal people. Very sad. I guess you go there for the nature, not so much for the nurture...
That said, we're back and ready for deliciousness. So I'm appealing to you, my friends. Send me the wines you'd like me to taste and I'll get on it.
